Day 24 - Intuition - Close-mindedness

AWAKE TO THE GENUINE VALUE:

You have often been given the gift of intuition, which you honor and appreciate. You have learned to listen within and trust the guidance and insights you receive. Sometimes there are small inights, and sometimes there are major revelations that come to you. Some are synchronistic experiences. You often feel that you know more than you could logically know. About most of your regrets in life, it could be said, “I knew I shouldn’t have done that.”  That has led you to be more careful about your intuitions and treat them with respect..

 PARTIALLY ASLEEP TO THE GENUINE VALUE: 

Sometimes you listen within, but sometimes you just charge ahead. Sometimes you follow your guidance, but at other times, you don’t, leading to a significant pile of regrets. You are not sure where your flashes of intuition come from, and so you talk yourself into ignoring some.

LIVING IN THE IMPOSTOR VALUE: 

You rarely, or ever, listen to intuition. You think it is just your mind trying to trick you, or just random thoughts passing through. You are not tolerant of others who speak of their flashes of insights and how they were led to good things. You have a highly negative view of intuition; in fact, you are prejudiced against it.

Choose. Which do you want for yourself and your world? Which way would you like life to be?

 

FOCUSING YOUR MIND

Going for the target you have chosen

To shift in the direction of intuition, select some or all of the following and copy them in order to have them with you. Live with them. Think about them. Absorb them.

·     I am thankful for my intuition.

·     I am learning to tell the difference between intuition and wishful thinking.

·     In history, most breakthroughs have come from intuition.

·     I am grateful that there is such a thing as guidance that is beyond my limited knowledge.

·     I am getting better and better at listening within.

REINFORCING BEHAVIORS

Action steps to take to get off the log

·     Spend time in the silence daily, stilling your inner dialogue.

·     Bring a question up, sit still, be silent for about 10 minutes. Write whatever comes to mind without stopping or censoring for 5 minutes. Reread what you wrote.

·     Begin to write down your dreams first thing in the morning, even if all you recall is a fragment. The more you do this, the more you will remember. What do your dreams tell you?

·     Become aware of your body signals that give you a heads up, such as when danger is near, something good is coming, or don’t buy this…..

·     Begin to notice even a little inkling. What actually happened? Keep track of these things. By honoring even little hints of intuition, they will increase.
